After successful confirmation, the account is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered. Uninstalling the app does not delete the account.
Email [email protected] from your registered email address with the subject “Stellmeet account deletion request” and include the registered email and in-app nickname. To prevent malicious deletion, we verify ownership through the registered email or another reasonable method. Do not send passwords, verification codes, or identity documents unless we explain a lawful need and provide a secure method.
We normally complete a verifiable request within 30 days. We will notify you if a complex request or applicable law permits an extension.
We delete the account, profile, avatar, voice card, friend relationships, messages, rooms, Wish Lanterns, and other online content and files associated with the account. Backup copies are removed through normal rotation within 90 days.
Exceptions apply where retention is required for legal, financial, fraud-prevention, safety, or dispute purposes: transaction and accounting records are generally retained for up to 7 years; reports, security records, and dispute evidence are generally retained for up to 24 months, or until an active dispute ends. Retained data is isolated, access-restricted, and not used to provide social features. Aggregated or irreversibly anonymized data may remain.
